PUMPKIN FESTIVAL FOOD VENDOR INFORMATION
All food vendors must have a temporary food permit
from Chenango County Department of Environmental Health, with a copy
supplied with their application. Certificate of Liability insurance for
$1,000,000 must be supplied by September 19, 2008 naming the Pumpkin
Festival Committee, Norwich Business Improvement District, the City of
Norwich and the Chenango County as co-insured.
We are looking for a variety of foods. Therefore,
please supply us with a list of foods you plan to sell so we can keep
duplication down to a minimum. The committee reserves the right to ask
vendors not to sell certain items in order to avoid this duplication.
Vendor fees are $125 for profit organizations and
$30 for non-for-profit organizations. Space sizes are 10’X20’-25’. There
will be no refund of vendor fees for “No Shows”.
Vendor applications are mailed to past vendors first
and all others after they have replied. A limited amount of electricity is
available. Everything else needed for the booth is the vendor’s
responsibility.
Chenango County Department of Health applications
will be provided upon request. These forms need to back to the Chenango
County Department of Health by September 19, 2008.
Vendors may arrive in the park area of downtown
Norwich anytime during the day on Friday, October 24, 2008. Please try and
be at the park no later than 3:00 pm on Friday as the park becomes very
congested throughout the afternoon. Spaces will be assigned on a first-come,
first-serve basis since entry into the park becomes very difficult once
vendors arrive.
